Common Core of Data CCD
The Common Core of Data (CCD) is the Department of Education's primary database on public elementary and secondary education in the United States. CCD is a comprehensive, annual, national database of all public elementary and secondary schools and school districts.
Dropout and Completer Restricted-Use Data Files
These restricted-use data files are constructed from data collected through two CCD nonfiscal surveys: the Public Elementary/Secondary School Universe Survey and the Local Education Agency Universe Survey. The data items include: completion data, dropout data, and enrollment bases for the dropout rates.
